This isn’t really a blooper, but it was funny to me. I had one of the mysterious mister gnomes, and he was out by the garden fence. Then I got another one and put him by the front door. From there, he teleported inside by Lily (See 4.3), then went out to play with his friend. You can’t really tell from this picture, but he’s actually up in the air.
Most of the family was teary over Maebe’s death, but Violet decided to take out her emotions on Grimmy. Boo!

Hi Kal, thanks for your comment! The stretchy toddler really freaked me out at the time, because I was afraid she was going to stick that way, but happily she got over it.
I had a guy in my hood go invisible too. Don’t know his details though. I think he was in sunset valley, about 8 gens into playing. Strangely he looked a bit like him. And his icon showed his head only, with no body cos he went invisible after he married a spare. There child looked normal though. Although she was preg before we went invisible.
I’m glad my game isn’t the only home of invisible sims, and it’s good to know that their children turn out okay! I would love to know what causes that; wouldn’t you?

Magicians? O.O That is so full of win! I want one of my sims to be magicians too now *pouty and goes on hunt to turn them into magicians*….*comes back* how does one turn them into magicians?
Sadly, I don’t think one can turn them into magicians. Magicians are service sims, like pizza deliverers and firefighters. You can marry one into the family, but then they lose their magicicity.

If you have any mods that let teens or same sex couples get pregnant but don’t have special maternal clothes meshes for the teens and men they have no bodies like that. So who knows, maybe some guys in your town magically got pregnant without the use of a mod somehow!
Absolutely no mods of any kind, and especially not that particular mod. But I guess that does make sense as a possible cause for a bodyless sim. I still think he was probably a magician. I may have to go looking for another one.

I love the stretchy toddler one! I’ve only had that happen to my sims when they were aging from child to teen!
I’ve had invisible men before..it was because they were pregnant. I don’t have a mod for it, it’s a glitch of story progression. In my case one of my spares was part of a gay couple, and story progression decided the town needed populating, so one of them ended up pregnant! He was just a floating head and feet for 3 days!
You know, that pic is the only time I’ve seen the stretchy thing happen when they weren’t aging!
I’ve never seen – and hope I never do see! – a pregnant male sim in my game. Judging from the way they freak out just seeing a woman feel her labor pains, I don’t think they could handle giving birth! Other simmers have documented that the magician sometimes has a disappearing torso. If I’m remembering right, Rad’s fabulous Dayes of our Lives legacy had a magician spouse in Gen 2. Since I don’t have any male-male couples in my game, I’m thinking it was probably just the magician showing up (sort of, lol) at the Foliages’ party. But what a weird glitch your story progression turned out!
So funny. I lot of my Sims get fatter / thinner as I watch – I always figured it was my graphics card since I’m running sims on the minimum requirements. I have no idea if that’s true. It just seemed logical.
Hi and welcome! I suppose the graphics card could be one factor, but mine is well above the minimum, so I suspect there are multiple factors contributing to the Kirstie Allie syndrome.
